Adult Coffee Club

Weekly on Tuesdays at 1pm

Join in our virtual coffee club for great local guest speakers on a variety of topics from home organization, staying active in the winter, and more!

Join in early for a casual social (bring coffee and snacks!), and then stay for the presentation to learn something new about your community!

Overbooked Book Club

Runs October to May

The Overbooked Book Club is a book club for people who would like to explore more books, but don't have the time/ability to attend a traditional book club. This is also a book club for people who aren't quite sure what to read and would like to branch out in their reading along with other readers. Learn more here.

Puzzle Exchange Program

Ongoing

Callander Public Library has a puzzle exchange program for all members of our community. Bring in a puzzle from home that’s in good condition with all pieces included, and exchange it for another one!

No need to bring it up to the front counter as there is no due dates.

If you find that the puzzle is missing a piece, please don’t return it. You can just discard the puzzle.

 Virtual Morning Book Club

Last Wednesday of the month from 10:30am-12:00pm

Join the group each month for a discussion about the group-chosen book via Zoom. Contact the library for the joining information.

Virtual Knitting Club

Wednesdays (except the last of the month) at 10:30am

Join our group of crafters to work on a project, swap tips and tricks, and share a laugh!
The group meets every Wednesday except the last of the month. Contact the library to join in.

Because life is busy, discussing interesting reads with no pressure.
Enjoy a new reader-chosen book every month.
Each month's book will be available at the front desk.

Graphic Novel Book Club

Third Monday of the month from 6:00pm-7:00pm

Discuss a new graphic novel, learn about new books or series, and current and upcoming film and television adaptations based on graphic novels.
All are welcome to attend!

Join others using Ancestry to explore their family trees! Use our FREE Ancestry access.
Meet every two weeks to share tips and tricks with others using Ancestry.
